The Human Quest for Wisdom in the Time of the Consciousness Soul

Reflections on Isis/Mary/Sophia – Typhon Has Taken Possession
of Her – and Lucifer Has Slain Her

Inspired by lectures given by Rudolf Steiner: GA 180, The Legend of the New Isis, January 6, 1918, and GA 202, The Search for the New Isis, December 24, 1920, Laurie Schmiesing has woven together her years of study in Anthroposophic Psychology and Nursing as well as Psychosynthesis to explore aspects of the consciousness soul, and its relationship to Mary/Isis/Sophia.

This talk will focus on the Soul as described by Rudolf Steiner, the Psychosynthesis Egg developed by Roberto Assagioli, and the Beings of Sophia and Isis and how they interweave and provide a path for insight and inner development as the human I seeks Wisdom. In times of rapid change, we can find stability and wisdom within.

“Christ-Will
Working in us
Shall tear her from Lucifer
And on grounds of spiritual knowledge
Call to new life in human souls
Isis-Sophia
Wisdom of God”
Rudolf Steiner, December 24, 1920
