Shakespeare’s Macbeth: Illuminating the Challenge of Evil (A 5-Part Series) Digital Recordings

The Association for Anthroposophic Psychology and the Eckersley Shakespeare Trust offered a collaborative exploration of Shakespeare’s Macbeth from May 22, 2021 through July 24, 2021. The digital recordings are now available. Please note that this is for educational purposes only. In preparation for the 5-Part Series, it was recommended that you review the following: • Shakespeare's modernized First Folio text of Macbeth. Other movie versions of the play are all interesting, but none (including the BBC version) has the fullness that is in the First Folio text, whose detail brings out elements that will be highlighted and unfolded in the online sessions. • The BBC production of 'Macbeth," (the 1983 version) is a good introduction to the play, particularly the role of Lady Macbeth. • Number and Geometry in Shakespeare's Macbeth (copies are difficult to obtain) are useful, but not essential reading.
